DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
The multimedia educational system Iron, alloys of iron and their production, which
concerns one of the most important industrial elements, iron, and its use in practice, is presented. This system includes the several main parts such as chemical properties of iron, production of crude iron in a blast furnace, production of steel and cast iron, description of production technology of grey cast iron, multimedia educational video sequences from the real environment of the foundry, photo galleries and package of didactic tests for the training of given problems.

In this article you can find very detailed description of the Multimedia education system "Iron" with short video about iron production and photo gallery from iron foundry. At the end is description of the testing system for students. This education system can be used by education of the iron and their production on all schools levels and in subjects as anorganic or application chemistry.

Message: The paper describes the multimedia educational system Iron, alloys of iron and their production, which concerns one of the most important industrial elements, iron, and its use in practice
Authors described the educational system and added some photos to make paper more synoptic.
The paper is very short, but it shows interesting educational system of Pedagogical faculty of Masaryk university of Brno. This education system can be also used by education of the iron and their production on all schools levels and in subjects as anorganic or application chemistry.
In my opinion the paper is relevant to the Chemistry is all around us project.
