DESCRIPTION
The tool is used to create various charts (pH, dpH/dV, [H3O+], [OH-], [R], [P] in terms of concentration or quantity) for reactions of acid-base titrations. It proposes to introduce a compound in a beaker specifying its concentration and another compound in a burette, also specifying its concentration. Based on this information, it creates the chart of the pH and enables to add the curves wanted.

There is a possibility to export the resulting chart in a different format (pdf, jpeg or svg) to include it in a word processor, for instance.

A specific reaction can also be saved to be used as an example.

The interface of the software is relatively intuitive, the reagents have to be dragged and dropped in the burette or the beaker; the concentration of the reagent will be asked immediately. The pH curve is created, now you just need to tick the curves you want to display in the “Concentrations/Quantities” tab.
-------------

COMMENTS
The strong points of this software are its easy use, thanks to a clear and accessible interface; the possibility to upload examples that show how the software works; the display of several curves on a same chart and the possibility to choose between a curve in terms of concentration or quantity.

From a pedagogical point of view, this tool seems to me easily accessible to students, notably thanks to the possibility to upload examples previously created by the teacher.

The tool can also be used to create charts to be inserted in course grades.

To sum up, the tool focuses on the creation of acid-base titration curves and nothing else, but it does it well.
-------------

Message: 1. Is the teaching resource described useful for you? Why?
The program draws various charts (pH, pH in relation with V and related to other issues connected to acid-base titrations), useful to demonstrate during appropriate lessons on upper secondary level.

2. Do you think it can increase the students’ interest toward chemistry? Why?
In my opinion, such applications cannot be considered as method of students\' motivation. They are useful tools but rather from professional point of view. Without support of other forms of learning stimulation, the results of the program cannot be enough attractive.

3. Do you think it can help the students to understand better and faster? Why?
In my opinion, of course, yes, but it applies to all tools which create charts presenting relations between values. But there are strong points of the tool - it is easy to use, focused on and well-match selected issues, it can be fed by downloaded data that is very comfortable to reuse in school conditions.

4. Do you think it propose an innovative didactic approach? Why?
It is hard to treat the tool as the main one in didactic process, it\'s rather some kind of support. I suppose we can tell about some innovation only in the context of greater methodology which uses the tool as one of many others.
