DESCRIPTION
The prerequisites
Knowlegde on chemistry for Secondary School of first and second levels, properly discriminated on the basis of the involved resource.

The contents
- Laboratory cards related to instruments description, experiments, pieces of information to prevent industrial accidents
- deepening cards on some theoretical aspects
- interactive simulations of chemical and physic phenomena from the Phet Project of the University of Colorado
- softwares that can be downloaded free of charge and referring to molecular graphics, calculation of the molecular mass, numerical exercises on: acid-base pHs, hydrolysis reactions, mixtures, titrating reactions, buffers, solubility, conversion of multi-media file formats (audios, images, videos, DVDs, CDs, ISOs)
- Games.

The aims
To give the teachers and students of a pleasant didactic tool, useful to visualize the concepts to be acquired, by making their comprehension easier.

Task Description
Exercises are in form of simulations or interactive games at elementary (symbol-name coupling of elements, re-assembling of distorted periodic tables, cross-word puzzles) or first (reaction balance, atoms and molecules building) level.

How to use it in class
Laboratory cards are divided in basis of progressive study years and then utilizable for experimental activities in different classes of a secondary level secondary school.
COMMENTS
Points of strength
Plenty of contents, application types, simulations and clever games.

Points of weakness
Difficulty in opening some simulations (Rutherford atom, light and molecules), most probably due to softwares mismatching.

Scientific reliability
Good

Pedagogic value
Good for both teachers (files in pdf format) and students (simulations and games).
