Description of Dissemination Event:

A Night in the Library was held in the National Technical Library, Prague, Dejvice as a part of Prague Museum Night. For the ninth year in a row, museums and cultural institutions in Prague opened their doors to visitors at an unusual time: at night, after hours. This extraordinary event, which is visited by more than 100,000 people every year, presents a unique opportunity to explore the cultural treasures of the Czech capital in a completely different ambiance. The event is put on by the National Museum, the Prague Public Transport Company and the Czech Association of Museums and Galleries in cooperation with other institutions, and co-funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the municipal authorities of Prague. Besides museums and galeries, public libraries also take part. with the respect to the orientation of National Technical Library, the programme there was aimed at science and technics including chemistry. Project CIAA NET was disseminated there.
