Description of Dissemination Event:
Assoc. Prof. Milena Kirova, expert in Chemistry Network Project from Research Laboratory of chemical education, history and philosophy of Chemistry - Sofia University (Project associated partner) presented paper “Application of ICTs in chemistry education: chemistry teachers' views”, during the 45th National Conference of Chemistry Teachers, session “The scientific literacy and the chemistry education at secondary school”, on 26th of October 2013 in Gabrovo.
The paper presents results from a survey performed among Bulgarian secondary school chemistry teachers on their views and competences to apply ICTs in chemistry school education process.

Chemistry teachers, university professors and researchers, experts in Science education and policymakers.

The paper summarizes the chemistry teachers’ views about ICTs application in chemistry education and draws conclusions about what is necessary to be done by teachers, experts in education, ICT products developers and policymakers to guarantee the quality of science education at school.
