DESCRIPTION
The prerequisites for using the EDUCA Website are mainly basic knowledge of Chemistry and chemical tools. For pupils it requires that they will respect all instruction given in laboratory and use all tools that are described on recipe.

The webpage’s contents are basic questions for pupils and instructions to conduct tasks that pupils must solve and show results. The site provides materials mainly with directions to conduct experiments. These can be used in class as well as homework. The directions are accompanied by worksheets to fill in with results. The directions to experiments are mainly useful because they require everyday life materials that can be found in every household in order to be conduct the experiment. Also they are mainly quite safe to conduct and expose pupils to no danger. In addition the themes are very interesting. They are connected to ordinary life and nature and the experiments also use mainly well-known ingredients from everyday life. All items they can check up on life.

The aims of the EDUCA website seem to be to involve and motivate the pupils to involve themselves in the experiments and chemistry in praxis. I think the authors want the pupils to make results themselves. The pupils will not only get new information from conducting the experiments but they will also have to work with the information and data that they receive from the experiments. In addition the pupils must work carefully and stick to the rules written on the website in order to achieve proper results. The experiments seem as an great opportunity to involve the students and show them the theoretical teaching in praxis.

The Task Descriptions are quite long, but it is necessary, because experiments could be done at home, so pupils must understand everything clearly – especially the instructions must be clear. Points, receiving by work are good motivation

How to use it in class? Like it is written here already – it can be used in experimental – practice- lessons, but it can be solved as homework. I think, students like home projects, they can work in groups, or, they can compare results and they can discuss the different results.
COMMENTS
• Points of strength
Very interesting themes, Correctly written instructions and tasks, feedback
Cooperation teachers with pupils and parents
Knowlidge, receive by experiments make themselves are stronger then maybe experiments on TV or video
• Points of weakness
Pupils must work without help, there must be cooperation between teacher and parents of pupils
Very long instruction – pupils like shorter, they don´t like to reed a long articles, but it is necessary to use this form
• Scientific reliability
I think, all is perfect expained and student are led by question to make the best results. After every work must be session, where all discuss about results and teacher must correct mistakes
• Pedagogic value
Great, students, who are sick, can work on experiments at home and without everyday consultation with teacher
Every teacher can use this web site and teachers can consult results together. Very useful materials.
