This package consists of a short video and a set of teaching materials and instructions on the following topics:
Module 1. Background information on chemistry in our daily life

Module 2. Chemistry: All About You - the video

Module 3. Links to online resources on Chemistry and its various applications

Module 4. Equality: Activities on the role of women in Chemistry

Module 5. Hands-on activities: Material and Properties

Module 6. Hands-on activities: Water experiments

The structure of the lesson plans includes the objectives of the activities, the materials needed for the implementation, the process of the activities and the timing of the activities.
COMMENTS
The videos: "Chemistry: All About You" and "Science: Where Can It Take You?" were developed to inform pupils about Science facts, education and careers. This site provides tools for an innovative and multi-disciplinary approach of chemistry teaching, and resources to organise activities in the classroom.
