This web-site has a number of educational materials, mostly video presentations. It is a private initiative for education. All of the materials on this site are open to public. Registration is not needed for the material it has. But, registration on this site is free and it has some more advantages to track the new material on the site.
This web-site has most of the topics of chemistry lessons of primary and secondary education. It has a variety of educational materials like videos, e-texts and exercises etc.
Contents of this web-site are reliable and quality in terms of scientific and pedagogical manners. There are many videos that can attract students’ attention to chemistry. The videos are clear and easy to understand the general and basic uses of chemistry.
Many of the activities are aiming at making the connection of chemistry with everyday life applications and phenomena. In this way, the material aims to increase student motivation to learn and study chemistry and science in general.
The educational materials are not designed for classroom use and the topics are not grouped for the grades and lessons in the regular curriculum of Turkey. But they can be used by teachers to teach certain topics to the students, because the videos have special topics. Some educational technologies like computers, overhead projectors etc. are needed to use in regular classroom environments.
