This site has a computer assisted learning system which has high quality learning content.

This material has been prepared by a private company and opened some material to use as an agreement with the Ministry of National Education of Turkey. The material on this site generally comprises some virtual experiments and demonstrations. The students can individually model and organize experiments about different subjects of chemistry. The materials can be opened and downloaded from the AeL web-site free. The material is open to everyone and registration is not needed.

The material on this site are not grouped according to the regular curriculum of primary or secondary school chemistry lessons and this situation is a disadvantage. On the other hand, contents of this web-site are highly reliable and very well-quality in terms of scientific and pedagogical manners. There are many interactive experiments and demonstrations that can attract students’ attention to chemistry. The interactive materials are easy to use and colorful.

In this site, solutions of some chemistry exercises and problems are also demonstrated. The students can understand the basic solutions of many problems about various topics of chemistry.

Many of the activities are aiming at making the connection of chemistry with everyday life applications and phenomena. In this way, the material aims to increase student motivation to learn and study chemistry and science in general.

The educational materials are not designed for classroom use. They are rather prepared for individual learning. Neverthless, the materials on this site can be used in computer laboratories for students to learn individually.

The material is scientifically reliable and it covers a wide range of activities, videos, interactive materials and solutions to problems about chemistry subjects in the regular curriculum. Especially interactive materials on the site are very useful for classroom and everyday use. They are very attractive for students that they can learn by themselves without being bored. The interactive materials are also very useful for teachers to use in their teaching. The materials can not be downloaded. So, internet connection is needed to use in the classroom. The only weakness of the web-site is the need for registration for some few materials.
