DESCRIPTION
• Scientific literacy and scientific approach enables us to use scientific knowledge to solve real problems in life and face of nature. Of the many products of chemistry detergents take first in use in our everyday life. Starting from soap through to temporary synthetic detergents and detergents, everywhere we meet with them and they have become unavoidable in our daily.
• The text is the process of saponification
- with sodium hydroxide
- with caustic soda
- with sodium carbonate / soda ash /
Saponification with potassium hydroxide, is obtained as liquid soap or cereal

The text shows the importance and use of our eternal companion in life-soap. It is clarified its receipt, processes and reactions taking place which could translate it. Paid enough attention to the types of soaps and their application.
• Learning and knowledge of typical features of this organic matter as part of organic chemistry. Understanding the composition and construction, production, application and significance.
• Possibilities of using the content and its relationship to events in life and nature. We can actually get soap at home.
COMMENTS
• Points of strength
Learning skills that can be used every day.
• Point of weakness
The text is more theoretical than it is practical. There are more theoretical examples, than scientific researches.
• Scientific reliability
The text should form scientific thinking and learning processes that can be used in the Chemistry. Learning chemical terminology. It gives bases for using chemistry in practice. Because Chemistry is the science that solves the big problems of our time, but it can also solve everyday problems.

• Pedagogical value
The text shows that chemistry is not only theoretical, but it has a practical side. The knowledge we have learned in school should be enough to show us the strong bond between chemistry and life.
