Concepts on general chemistry for secondary school level are needed.
Contents:
This website is about fundamental concepts of chemistry and is designed for lower secondary students.
You can find in it sections about physical and chemical changes, matter structure, chemical reactions and history. All of them have self-evaluation exercises and and has a tutorial for use by students.
Aims:
- To make students interested in chemistry.
- Develop and facilitate ICT-based learning activities in the context of teaching chemistry
- To develop an appreciation of how science has contributed to the historical and cultural development of our society.
- To have the student appreciate, learn and understand chemistry's basic concepts through experimentation, computer models, to apply that to real-life hands-on situations.
- To provide a training to students a scientific culture.
- To familiarize the students with the important role played y chemistry in their life.
Use in classroom:
This resource can be used in lower an upper secondary school, by individual or grupal learning. It can be neccesary the teacher support in some contents.

- Facility in access and use of the resource.
- Attractive design.
Points of weakness:
- The contents are for lower secondary school students. It doesn´t has contents adapted to different levels.
