Message: In this digital resource, we can find a nice way to present the periodic table of elements, ions and chemical formulas in an articulated and interconnected mode.
I find this resource very useful both for basic and secondary levels, to recall knowledge and consolidate some topics.
As a resource that is available without the need for additional software, handling it becomes easier and faster.
It is also very attractive from the point of view of graphic design and has the ability to be used with a personal avatar very similar to the profiles of multimedia games; it is highly interactive allowing immediate access to quiz answers; it also allows downloading some of the information and evaluation resources for printing.
It may prove to be an additional aid in that it can complement the theoretical study and serve as a self-assessment learning tool.
Despite being structured for an average learning level, the software could include mixed salts and exclude the nomenclature of salts that is not adopted by IUPAC. This is definitely the weak point of this resource.

Message: This resource is very useful; it facilitates contents approach in which regards chemical formulas and nomenclature, essentially at 3rd cycle level. It uses new technologies motivating students and thus facilitating the learning process. It could help students to learn better and faster because it applies a strategy of progressive learning, it is interactive and can be used for self-assessment. This resource is valuable to be used in a classroom environment, nevertheless in my opinion it is not very innovative in what concerns the used didactical approach. In what concerns my particular case, my school has enough resources to use it. In addition, this resource can be easy accessed.
