DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
The idea behind the new ways of teaching is to create conditions for rapid and sustained absorption of knowledge and facilitating access to educational materials , while more attractive rates . This perspective gives courses supported and conducted in e-learning technology , allowing teachers to adjust the pace of the classes to your individual needs and develop a material that easily reaches the student. Undeniable advantage of e-learning is the practical abolition of restrictions on time and place of study, which can work both at home and at school , and also allows for remote participation in courses in popular foreign exchange programs . The introduction of e- tests also gives the possibility of an efficient, objective and quick evaluation of a large number of students. This paper presents a variety of solutions used for supporting electronic teaching at the Faculty of Chemistry, Technical University of Wroclaw .Currently, one of the leaders in implementing solutions related to e-learning of the university's Department of Chemistry. Four years after the launch of E-Portal Support Teaching at the Faculty of Chemistry have been developed over 70 courses that are available through Moodle. Presenting the idea of e-learning reflects different concepts of e-teaching aids used in the educational portal available courses - from publishing "static" instructions and tasks for students, through to electronic exams designed to test students' knowledge. In the fall semester of 2009 at the Department of Chemistry has launched the first fully online course of General Chemistry - exercises, designed for 64 students, "remote", who do not participate in traditional classroom exercises, but contact with lecturers only through Internet. The above mentioned activities are based on electronic tutoring General Chemistry, available to all students of this subject. Noteworthy novel method by which a student follows the course of solving the problem by introducing interactive solutions to specific stages of the task. It is worth noting that it is possible not only to distinguish between correct and incorrect answers, but also partly correct.
Teaching chemistry is also monitoring the progress of students in the acquisition of knowledge. Perfectly in this case Moodle system are that you can prepare quizzes computing numerical and descriptive variants choice questions. It is possible to link the content of the questions in the graphic file, which works well for tasks in biochemistry, molecular biology and physics. Especially for teaching chemistry has also created a module that allows determination of the oxidation various reagents and completion rates in stoichiometric oxidation-reduction reactions, which led to the setting of the quizzes from stoichiometry.
REVIEWER’S COMMENTS ON THE PUBLICATION
Each topic is preceded by an appropriate theoretical introduction and follow-up rates of chemical dictionary. The system of e-courses closely corresponds to the adopted program of teaching chemistry involved in the project were teachers with years of experience, which ensures that the input examples are representative and provide specific answers to frequently asked during the "traditional" consultation questions. Of course, both students of courses, and the computer have the ability to direct contact with lecturers just on those consultations.
The idea behind the website is to support the present teaching at the Faculty of Chemistry , ranging from supporting the organization of classes, by providing a variety of educational materials , through to electronic exams . In recent years, the Department of Chemistry, University of Technology admitted each year more than 700 students, of which there are currently virtually any contact with the e -learning activities . Launching an electronic tutor gives students the opportunity to independently analyze the issues discussed , and its advantages over the traditional manual is that there are options of interactive problem solving and self-assessment of the degree of assimilation lined material. Portal is also used for mass examination of students: both tasks and jobs figures are chosen at random , which limits the opportunity to learn the answers to memory , giving you the guarantee of a rapid and objective assessment of student messages .

Message: The author describes an e-learning courses designet for students of the Faculty of Chemistry, Technical University of Wroclaw. In my opinion, there are four main main benefits in the e-learning:

1. Courses gain is to incerase students motivation
2. The e-learning courses offer various topics (there are more than 70 topics avaliable)
3. Individual approach (students can learn at home, duration of the course is indiviual too).
4. The courses make the teachers work easier (e.g. many students are tested at same time).

In my opinion, the courses are useful and relevant for variegation of teaching. The article definitely describes suessful experiience. Even so experiments and personal contact with experts and scientists should be the primary source of information.

National Reports on successful experiences to promote lifelong learning for chemistry The national reports on chemistry successful experiences to promote lifelong learning for chemistry are now available on the related section of the project portal. The reports presents examples of successful experiences in the partner countries and the results of testing of ICT resources with science teachers.
