REVIEWER’S COMMENTS ON THE PUBLICATION
One of the key publications on the training of teachers in science subjects aimed primarily at teaching chemistry while the conference organizer was the Department of Chemistry at the Pedagogical Faculty of Trnava University. In terms of project Chemistry needs the anthology covers all project area from student motivation through teacher training to the use of ICT in teaching chemistry. The first section presents a few key lectures on the topic of teacher training e.g. Dydaktyka chemistry, Chemistry teacher preparation for the implementation of project teaching in relation to the promotion of chemistry, Teacher that turns learning into a joy of learning science, as well as Computer-supported school chemistry experiment as a tool of research-oriented teaching (the authors are not mentioned because the information can be looked up). In section 2 the examples are: Implementing research-tuned concept of science education in teaching chemistry at secondary level of elementary schools, Experience and perspective of the implementation research-tuned concept of science education in Slovakia and neighboring countries, and so on. In Section 4 it is for example: Model experiment: the way to refine generally reported errors in chemistry as well as special tasks in the laboratory classes of analytical chemistry etc. Many contributions are from other sections e.g. sections 7, 8 and 9, for example: The use of interactive board in elementary school chemistry teacher work, Iron, ferrous alloys and their products - the multimedia teaching system, Evaluation methods and feedback tools of project teaching etc. All contributions are not mentioned, it is not necessary while they are all available in the anthology and can be found out and commented on.

Message: This is an extensive collection based on outcomes of an international conference. The compliations includes inputs from a number of experts; these then form a comprehensive study providing a good insight into the issue. I would like to point out topics such as Computer-Aided Experiments, Preparation and Implementation of Project-based Chemistry Teaching, Learning and Enjoyment, Heuristic Methods in Primary Natural Science Teaching or The Model Experiment. The compilation also includes informal teaching methods and comparision of the conditions of Czech and Slovak School Leaving Examination in Chemistry. The collection also deals with training for teachers self-evaluation.

The article “Teacher who transforms learning into joy” impressed me already with its title. The author, Beáta Brestenská, has a long teaching experience and can therefore compare teaching thirty years ago and today. A lot has changed over this time in terms of teaching, the author shows the progress in development on the field of technology, yet the crucial role remains in the hands of teachers.

In my view the compliation serves as a very useful source of information and is therefore more than suitable for this project.

National Reports on successful experiences to promote lifelong learning for chemistry The national reports on chemistry successful experiences to promote lifelong learning for chemistry are now available on the related section of the project portal. The reports presents examples of successful experiences in the partner countries and the results of testing of ICT resources with science teachers.
