DESCRIPTION
This is a Java application to install on your pc (multi-system: supports Windows, Mac and Linux)

The tool is used to make a stoichiometric study of the progress of the chemical reaction. It enables to see the evolution of the quantity of reagent and product during the reaction in different forms (histogram, Cartesian chart, number).

By default, six reactions are offered and it is possible to add others. Other options are also adaptable, such as the progress speed of the reaction or the initial mole number
---------------

COMMENTS
The possibility to view the data in different ways in a window is undoubtedly the strong point of this application. It enables to better understand the links between the evolution of the reagents quantity and that of the products in a very visual way.

One might regret that it is impossible to print the chards created with the application.
-------------

Message: Is the teaching resource described useful for you? Why?
The program is a simple java application, allowing to make a stoichiometric study of the progress of the chemical reaction in different visual forms. The list of supported reactions can be extended. The tool is useful as a support to corresponding chemistry lessons.

Do you think it can increase students’ interest toward chemistry? Why?
The problem needs to be considered in wider context. I cannot say that there will be any noticeable, direct effect on students\' motivations. But lessons with using such ICT tools almost always affects, especially for talented students, their interest toward the subject, presenting a cohesion of the world of science.

Do you think it can help students to understand better and faster? Why?
The profit from the tool is obvious and not worth the discussion. The demonstration of issues is clear and allows to realize relations between values found in the chemical reaction in more attractive form than a formal model/formulas.

Do you think it proposes an innovative didactic approach? Why?
All approaches which allow to understand complex relations in physics is very required. The program is not innovative in sense of methods of explainations, but by using ICT methods to demonstrate them - the most important feature of them is an interaction with the user.

National Reports on successful experiences to promote lifelong learning for chemistry The national reports on chemistry successful experiences to promote lifelong learning for chemistry are now available on the related section of the project portal. The reports presents examples of successful experiences in the partner countries and the results of testing of ICT resources with science teachers.
