DESCRIPTION
Prerequisites:
Flash Player is needed to access certain types of content on the Web
Concepts on general chemistry for secondary school level are needed.

Contents:
Science for Nes is a blog with a complete collection of video tutorials on physics and chemistry that a professor of Galicia has done to his daughter. The contents of the videos consist whiteboard explanations on solving problems in physics and chemistry at the undergraduate level. You can find more than 600 videos, about physical organic chemistry, chemical equilibrium, oxidation-reduction,even computing and maths. Ciencia para Nes has a lot of content useful to supplement the school classes and exam preparation for university entrance. The problems are explained in a pleasant manner always end in some interesting advice.

Aims:
- To provide students with an study of chemistry which will include several areas of study.
- Use ICT efficiently in problem in chemistry

Use in classroom:

The originality of this blog is that it provides explanations of the classroom in a virtual environment, with the advantage that you can see the explanations many times as you want or stop them at the point that is needed.

The best way to use it: during the realization of problems as a guideline to difficulties encountered. Some of the videos can be viewed during daily lessons and the teacher have to explain to students that the objetive is to visualize the part of each video needed to resolve specific questions that can appear during personal work in problem solving sessions.
COMMENTS
Points of strength:

- Plenty of contents.

- The videos are enjoyable and didactic.

- There are many content areas.

- MIT section, that is a section that contains videos of Professor Walter Lewin.

Points of weakness:

- It´s lacking a more detailed classification of the videos by subject.

- Sometimes the teacher's handwriting difficult to read the blackboard.

Scientific reliability:
Excellent.

Pedagogic value:
Have pedagogical value although the videos reflect traditional teaching sesions moved to a virtual environment. In this type of content the teacher's role is important to guide students in how to use these resources efficiently.
