DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS
The article presented deals with students opinions on e-learning version of chemical subject Applied Environmental Chemistry. The subject Applied Environmental Chemistry is included into the first year bachelor studying programme of Ecology and Environment on Faculty of the Natural Science at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. Applied Environmental Chemistry is a preparatory
discipline for the studies of environment and ecology. The students have an option to take part in elearning
form of study within the University website. The interdisciplinary subject Applied
Environmental Chemistry informs the students with the environment status, suggests theoretical
information together with practical demonstration of varied characteristics of particular
environmental elements.
The interdisciplinary character of subject mentioned enlarges the knowledge an information of the
students of chemistry and related branches. Applied Environmental Chemistry belongs to the
disciplines in which students realize the necessity of a particular knowledge together with its
possibility in other subjects and use in everyday life. According to recent information and experience
as well as responses on teaching this subject we can proclaim that young generation is interested in
studying this subject.

This article is a short reasearch - you can find information about e-learning system in science education - concrete in the subject Applied Environmental Chemistry. Article explain system of using elearning education for this subject, increasing effectivity of teaching with this system. Last chapter is about reasearch results between students about thus system.

Message: 1) Which kind of successful experience does the publication describe?
The article deals with e-learning of Applied Environmental Chemistry at Faculty of the Natural Science at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The author discusses the necessity of interdisciplinary education of science and shows the Applied Environmental Chemistry as a successful solution. The subject is focused on chemistry as well on natural science.
2) Does the publication suggest how to use ICTs in the teaching of chemistry?
The author describes e-learning as a modern teaching method. Students learn chemistry and also how to use ICTs in everyday life. It also enables students\' individual pace. I consider e-learning as a very useful method for university students.

It suggest how to use ICTs in the teaching of chemistry, which help to increase effectivity of teaching with this system. It also shows interesting research about results between students about thus system.
The article is focused on chemistry teaching and shows modern methods how to use ICTs.
